What should I expect after my Jet Peel hair restoration session?
There is zero downtime to this treatment!
However, for best results we do ask that you allow the solution to remain in place until the morning after your treatment or at least a few hours.
This means no gym time and going back to work is at your discretion given your hair will be wet at the roots. New growth will begin to appear at 4- 6 weeks post treatment.

Sebum is a natural, wax-like oil produced in hair follicles.
It forms a protective barrier on your skin and hair to prevent dryness and infections.
Some people have more sebum than others. Sebum can combine with sweat, dead skin cells and hair products to create buildup on the scalp.

Rosacea is a chronic inflammatory disorder usually affecting
the central parts of the face with flushing, persistent erythema
and telangiectasia, in combination with episodes of swelling, papules and pustules. It typically presents either as erythematotelangiectatic rosacea or as the papulopustular type [6] .
Eye involvement (ocular rosacea) is common, and other extrafacial locations

Causes of Scalp Buildup
The reasons behind scalp buildup are unknown. But certain factors make it more likely that you'll have an increase in sebum production that can lead to scalp buildup. These include:
Hormone imbalances: Imbalances of thyroid and pituitary hormones may lead to an increase in sebum production.
Metabolic disorders: Unhealthy fats (e.g., saturated or trans fats) impact your metabolism and can spur an increase in sebum production.

Hair shedding or loss can occur anywhere on the body, but most commonly affects the scalp. On average, the scalp has 100,000 hairs that cycle through periods of growing, resting, falling out, and regenerating.
Most people lose 50 to 100 hairs per day as part of this natural cycle.
If this cycle is disrupted, or if a hair follicle is damaged, hair may begin to fall out more quickly than it is regenerated, leading to symptoms such as a receding hairline, hair falling out in patches, or overall thinning.
Hair loss may be linked to a person’s genetics, although many medical and behavioral conditions may interrupt the growth cycle and cause hair loss.
The growth cycle occurs in three phases.
During the anagen phase, also known as the growth phase, the hair begins to grow from the root of the follicle and out the surface of the skin. This phase lasts three to seven years.
The catagen, or transitional phase, lasts two to four months, during which hair growth slows and the hair follicle shrinks.
The telogen, or resting phase, occurs when the hair falls out and the hair follicle begins to produce a new hair , lasting 3 to 4 months .
